You’re formally invited to wine night with the girls! This one’s extra special because we’ll be joined by Napa Valley winemaker Elan Fayard.
Originally from the Bay Area, Elan moved to France at the age of 19 and fell in love with viticulture. She’s turned her passion into a thriving business, building a successful career in the wine industry as a female entrepreneur in a male-dominated field. Along the way, she’s gained valuable insights into earning credibility through experience.
Elan will guide us through a three-flight tasting of some of her favorite wines while sharing her journey as a female business owner, mother, and winemaker.
You won’t want to miss this evening of inspiring conversation, exceptional wine, and (as always) great company.
All tickets include a $10 fee that covers food and a full wine tasting. An optional, final pour is available for an additional $10.
Speaker Bio:
Elan Fayard has a wide-ranging international background which encompasses oenology, gastronomy, tourism and journalism. Originally from the Bay Area, she followed her interest in wine which led to studies in Bordeaux and Provence, France.
In addition to producing premium wines for her labels Azur and Empreinte Wines, she also operates her direct to consumer wine consulting business, Elan Fayard Consulting, and most recently founded Luminous Retreats, wellness retreats in Napa Valley.
Elan is a mother of three and lives in a historic farmhouse she renovated. She is featured in the book Wine Country Women of Napa.
