Parlay House SF | The Art of Playing Big with Tara Mohr

Tue Jun 30, 2026 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM Parlay House SF, Jackson Square

There's an idea you keep almost starting. A chapter you keep almost beginning. A version of yourself you can sense at the edges – bigger, bolder, more creative – that you haven't quite let out the door.

Most women learn early how to play small. To soften the ask, hedge the opinion, dim the dream. By midlife, those habits have hardened into a way of moving through the world and the cost to our creativity, our work, and our days is steeper than we let ourselves admit.

Tara Mohr has spent more than a decade studying what changes when women stop playing small and take creative risks. As the bestselling author of Playing Big: Practical Wisdom for Women Who Want to Speak Up, Create, and Lead, and the creator of the Playing Big leadership program, she has worked with thousands of women around the world to quiet the inner critic, take real creative risks, and step into the work they've been quietly circling.

In this intimate evening at Stephanie Breitbard Fine Arts, a woman-run art gallery in Jackson Square, Tara will share what she has come to know about what playing big actually looks like in real women's lives, and the practical ways you can begin your own unique Playing Bigger journey today.

Come ready to take up a little more space. Bring a friend who's been circling something of her own.
