Parlay House Miami | Members' Night at The Moth Story Slam

Join us for a special Parlay House members' night at The Moth StorySLAM!

We’ll gather at the Sandrell Rivers Theater for an evening of true stories and big laughs as storytellers take the stage to share a story around work, careers, and everything that comes with being “on the clock.” The Moth StorySLAM is a community-focused, open-mic storytelling competition in which anyone can share a five-minute story on the night‘s theme. Come for the stories, laughs and community, and maybe even get inspired to share one of your own!

Feeling brave? Prepare a five-minute story about being on the clock. First jobs and corporate climbing. Dream gigs, survival works, side hustles. Water cooler gossip, awkward HR meetings. Burning the midnight oil or goofing off on the company dime. Passion projects that fuel you or counting the minutes until happy hour. Is it your calling? Or just a paycheck? Punch in. Punch out. Repeat. What a way to make a livin'!

Participation is not required, just bring your curiosity and a willingness to be entertained!

We'll meet at the theater at 6:30PM. Members are welcome to bring 1 guest. Tickets must be purchased in advance and are subject to availability.
